Q: What is PROSSAGE™ Heat?
A: PROSSAGE™ Heat is a uniquely blended ALL NATURAL area specific warming ointment. This ointment was formulated specifically for deep tissue work, myofascial release and trigger point therapy. PROSSAGE™ Heat, with its warming properties, is a revolutionary breakthrough for effective treatment of symptoms of soft tissue pain and dysfunction throughout the body. The non –slip, controllable glide allows the therapist to work more effectively. Through extensive feedback from healthcare professionals such as massage therapists, chiropractors, osteopaths, physical therapists, athletic trainers and other pain management specialists, our expert chemists and leading pain management educators have formulated the perfect product to assist professionals in their effort to relieve pain resulting from soft tissue restrictions.
Q: Why should I use PROSSAGE™ Heat?
A: PROSSAGE™ Heat lets you work soft tissue in ways you cannot achieve with a cream or oil. We know that accurate and effective soft tissue work can be difficult and painful. PROSSAGE™ Heat makes it easier to hook the deep fascia allowing the professional to work faster and more efficiently. Heating the tissues calms hyperexcited thermoreceptors and reduces spasms in muscles, ligaments and joint capsules. The controlled glide makes deep tissue work easier and less painful. Your patients will love PROSSAGE™ Heat’s benefits long after leaving your office.
Q: How does PROSSAGE™ Heat work?
A: Put a drop or two of PROSSAGE™ Heat in your hand and rub hands together vigorously. The combination of the PROSSAGE™ Heat and the palmer friction to the area being worked will increase the warmth and blood flow resulting in an increase of oxygen to the area. It is important to release the connective tissues or fascia surrounding tight muscle groups, nerves and blood vessels leading to the hips, knees, ankles, shoulders, elbows, wrists and neck. Soft tissue release can be deeper and faster. The result is more available blood and oxygen to the vascular structures, relaxing the muscles that attach to tendons at each joint can reduce or completely eliminate trigger points, myofascial pain, tendonitis, and degeneration of cartilage at each joint, resulting in reduction of progressive joint arthritis.
Q: How do I apply PROSSAGE™ Heat?
A: PROSSAGE™ Heat is unique because you only need a small amount to effectively work an area. Put a drop or two of PROSSAGE™ Heat in your hand. Rub your hands together vigorously then begin working the area.
